Parish Clerk and responsible Financial Officer
10 hours per month – to commence 1st April 2013
Winston Parish Council if seeking a self motivated part time clerk with local government administrative experience who, in addition to the normal committee servicing, administration and financial duties associated with the local management of a local council, will advise and guide elected members in delivering their programme of quality services to the local community.
Salary to be in accordance with the Scale LC1 (Spinal Column Point) 15.
The successful applicant must have Financial and IT ability and be capable of operating unsupervised with integrity.
The clerk will co-ordinate at least one meeting per month, and will work from home. The successful applicant will be expected to hold or achieve the Certificate in Local Council Administration and support the Council in achieving Quality Status.
